Galvanic Industry
Through galvanization, a surface or object is treated using chemical or electrochemical processes in order to enhance its dielectric properties and thermal conductivity, increase its resistance to corrosion and friction or improve its appearance. C.M. offers a wide variety of FRP gratings and other products which are ideal for various uses in the galvanic industry. Our gratings are resistant to most acids and bases, therefore suitable for chemically aggressive environments. They are manufactured with pure isophthalic and vinylester resins and contain more resin than standard gratings so as achieve full fiberglass coverage. C.M. products are the ideal solution for special applications for machinery and equipment as well as for a wide range of structures such as gangways, walking surfaces, enclosures and ladders. For maximum safety of the operators, we provide flame resistant products manufactured in compliance with the EN13501, ASTM E84, ASTM D635, DIN 4102 and NFP 92-507 standards as well as conductive and antistatic/ dissipative gratings which are the perfect choice for potentially explosive atmospheres (known as ATEX areas). All our gratings comply with the DIN 25437-3 standard and are also available in a non-slip version according to the DIN 51130 standard. C.M.'s micromesh or “heel proof” elevated walkways are constructed according to the most strict EU standards, while our FRP parapets complement our product range. All C.M. products comply with the UNI EN ISO 14122 – 1,2,3,4 safety standards.
